Under the theme Design Items to Take with You, the problem of fragile items like pastels, colored pencils, charcoal, etc., which often break during transport, was addressed.
My focus was on finding sustainable materials and integrating them meaningfully into the product. A particular challenge was working with PHA filament, which, unlike regular PLA, doesn’t require special conditions for composting. At the time, this filament was still fairly new on the market, and the printing settings were not well known, so I had to figure them out through numerous trials.The goal of the project was to create a functional case that not only safely stores the items but also takes a sustainable approach through material choice and durable design.
