STRONG & WEAK

For the artistic exploration of the theme Strong/Weak, I created an object that makes the contrast between outer strength and inner vulnerability visible.
In today’s society, gender roles and stereotypes are becoming more flexible, but they are still an important issue. Especially the image of the man, who must represent strength, remains. The vulnerable, weaker side is often ignored or not accepted. With this work, I wanted to bring together these contrasts: the outer, hard, and tough layer symbolizing strength, and the view into the inside that shows the vulnerable side.
