BROKEN CHAIR

Ready Made refers to the repurposing of existing objects and placing them in a new context. The goal was to combine existing items and create an interesting, functional piece of furniture.
In this project, a stool was made from standard crutches, reinforced with aluminum strips to provide a stable base. The seat pad is made from old jeans, quilted to create a structured, dense surface. This results in a practical piece of furniture that gains new functionality through the reuse of materials.
